I discovered Al Serov in the pages of Heavy Metal magazine today. Go to his page. Look at his stuff. Now look at me. Back to him. You have a mustache.

Kiyoaki Kanai

Kiyoaki Kanai is... bizarre. The art is certainly interesting, no arguing that. It is also shocking. I chose the image above because it is by far the tamest example I could find. If you go to his (at least, I think it's a "he") website and bounce around, you'll see what I mean. It's in Japanese, but there's an option at the top to view it in English. Have fun.

Lorenzo Sperlonga

Lorenzo Sperlonga's work is right up there with the best of them. You know him from the pages of Heavy Metal Magazine. Go to his website, buy his books, and give them to me. You'll enjoy going through his galleries. Don't be discouraged by how awesome his stuff is compared to yours. He was born in Rome, and I'm sure that's some kind of huge artistic advantage.

NLWS

Somebody should write up some flash fiction for this and send it to me. Then I'd post it here. Sound good? Good. Let's say in the neighborhood of 500 words. We'll do more of these in the future, and someday prizes may be involved. And if you submit your own naked ladies with swords, we'll do flash fiction for those, too. GET TO WORK.
